Welcome to PLYC
Established in 1967 to promote sailing on Pelican Lake. We are located on the NW Corner of Pelican Lake at 51595 Co Hwy 9 with slips and facilities available for members. Instruction and training boats are available through the Pelican Lake Sailing School.

About Us
The Pelican Lake Yacht Club (PLYC) supports safe and fun sailing on Pelican Lake. We hold numerous social events and activities throughout the year, and we operate the PLYC Club House and sailboat moorings. As well, we are associated closely with the Pelican Lake Sailing School (PLSS) – a Minnesota non-profit organizaion that focuses on youth sailing. Adult lessons are also available.
The open water space on Pelican is ideal for sailboat racing, and each Sunday you can participate in or watch the MC-Scows and Open Fleets compete at 11 a.m. In addition, PLYC sponsors its annual regatta the last weekend in July.
Become a PLYC member! We appreciate your support and the remittance of your dues. Be sure to invite others to join PLYC. Thank you to all the volunteers who keep our membership fees so low.
